PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AGAINST LIQUID CHEMICALS

EN 13034/EN 13034+A1 provides only minimal protection against tiny amounts of liquid chemicals and splashes (Type 6 and Type PB [6] equipment). Safety clothing with this accreditation is suited for use in situations where minor splashes of chemicals are a risk, but complete body protection is not required. EN 13034 certified safety apparel is appropriate for circumstances in which you might be exposed to small amounts of chemicals. If the safety apparel has been exposed to chemicals, remove it as soon as possible.

AREAS OF USE

Chemical protective gear with limited performance is designed for situations where a complete liquid penetration barrier (at a molecular level) is not required, such as light sprays, liquid aerosols, or low pressure, low volume splashes.

TYPE 6 REQUIREMENTS
